The first HCPT Groups in Wales were established in 1971, and the first Welsh flight took off in 1986 from Cardiff Airport.
 
 
Now there are ten Easter Groups and one Hosanna House Group in Wales.
The Welsh region covers the area of the Diocese of Wrexham and Menevia and the Archdiocese of Cardiff, as such it includes not only the whole of Wales but also the county of Hereford - where one of the Groups is based. The Groups in Wales are spread from Newport to Swansea in the south and in Wrexham and Llandudno in the north, children from all over Wales and Hereford are welcome!  
 
The Welsh Region will be preparing the liturgy for the Trust Mass in 2009 which seems a long way away, but plans are already taking shape.
